On the morning of September 16, 2018, the unveiling ceremony of the academician workstation of Jinan Lurijunda Leather Co., Ltd. was grandly held in the company's multifunctional hall.     Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, Professor of Sichuan University, and doctoral supervisor Shi Bi, Secretary-General of the China Leather Association Chen Zhangguang, President of the Shandong Leather Association Liang Zhixin, Deputy Dean of the China Leather and Footwear Research Institute Ding Zhiwen, Deputy Inspector of the Jinan Science and Technology Association Jiao Zhaogang, President (Dean) of Qilu University of Technology (Shandong Academy of Sciences) Chen Jiachuan, Head of the Jinan Citizen Patrol Team Xin An, leaders of Changqing District Zhang Zhaosen, Pan Xinghua, Zhang Yonggang, Liu Baolin, main responsible persons of relevant departments in the district, responsible comrades from various streets and towns, and some enterprise leaders, as well as cooperative units of Lurijunda and major media attended the event. President (Dean) Chen Jiachuan pointed out that school-enterprise cooperation is an important strategic measure under the new situation, and the cooperation between industry, academia, and research is also an inherent demand for the common development of both parties. In the next step, we will achieve complementary advantages through the combination of industry, academia, and research, realizing a win-win situation for universities and enterprises.   Secretary-General Chen Zhangguang proposed three expectations for the future development of Lurijunda as a benchmark enterprise for cow split leather: First, focus on market orientation, promote the dissemination and application of new technologies, and facilitate the development and innovation of new products, cultivating new growth points in the industry through product differentiation, fashion, ecology, and branding. Second, focus on the combination of production, learning, research, and application, fully utilize the platform of the academician workstation to promote clean production and environmental governance in the leather industry, and facilitate the green development of the leather industry. Third, focus on enhancing the added value of the industrial chain, unite outstanding enterprises upstream and downstream of the industry, and strive to create a high-end, high-quality, and efficient leather industrial chain. Academician Shi Bi fully affirmed and highly praised Lurijunda's efforts in environmental protection, energy conservation, on-site management, and green factories. Academician Shi pointed out the direction for future cooperation, emphasizing that the cooperation between the academician team and Lurijunda will focus on practical actions, organizing forces from all aspects, and focusing on completing the development and application of high-end leather products and advanced clean leather technology. Combining his experiences, feelings, insights, and understanding over more than forty years in society, Chairman Chen explained why Lurijunda has today from four aspects: corporate Culture, integrity construction, green development, and innovation. First, corporate Culture is the root. The hearts of employees are the roots of the enterprise, and the boss shines through the employees; the real sun is the employees, while the boss is just the moon. "The masses are the real heroes" is an unchanging truth. Second, always adhere to integrity. The company has adhered to the concept of "integrity as the soul" for 29 years, with no bad records with customers, employees, or banks. Third, insist on green development. The company adopts advanced clean production technology and efficient wastewater treatment technology, investing more than 30 million in the wastewater treatment station, implementing measures such as material and water conservation evaluations to reduce resource and energy input, and the construction of green factories has reached an industry-leading level. Fourth, innovation seeks development. There are no backward industries, only backward processes and management.
