On July 13, 2018, Academician Shi Bi from the Chinese Academy of Engineering, Professor Liao Xuepin from Sichuan University, and Dean Li Yanchun and Professor Jin Liqiang from the Leather College of Qilu University of Technology, accompanied by Liu Baolin, Vice Chairman of the District CPPCC, Deputy Commander of the District Industry-University-Research Command, and Director of the District Industry-University-Research Office, and Zhang Ruta, Secretary of the Shuangquan Town Party Committee, visited Jinan Lurijunda Leather Co., Ltd. for communication and inspection.
Led by Chairman Chen Jiajun, Academician Shi Bi and his team visited the Lurijunda workshop, sewage treatment facilities, office building, testing center, and the under-construction laboratory. As a leading figure in scientific research in the leather industry, Academician Shi Bi fully affirmed and highly praised Lurijunda's achievements in environmental protection and energy conservation, process methods, product quality, corporate Culture, and on-site management, commending Lurijunda for achieving an industry-leading level in green manufacturing system construction, realizing a virtuous cycle of ecological protection and corporate development, and being the first enterprise in the leather industry to pass the green factory evaluation, which is well-deserved.
At the symposium, Academician Shi Bi and Professor Liao Xuepin listened to the report on the production and operation status of Jinan Lurijunda Leather Co., Ltd. in recent years, and provided valuable suggestions for the company's development from the aspects of technological research and application, product production and market, and talent introduction and training.
Academician Shi Bi also expressed his expectations, hoping that Lurijunda, as a leading enterprise in cow split leather, would play the role of the main body of innovation, further strengthen the training of its own talents, and proposed that in the future, Sichuan University, Qilu University of Technology, and Lurijunda should strengthen communication and cooperation, integrating the advantages of basic research in universities and the transformation of scientific research achievements in enterprises, to contribute more to the development of the leather industry.
